Can u put a normal memory card in a pda...?

i have a palm tungsten t3 and im dazzled by an array of memory cards on the market would a sans disk 4/8gb be okay...on the high st retailing about 50 quid or online for 15 but don't want to get the wrong type help please...thanks in advance.xx
