I'm still confused why christians think atheists "reject god"?

They believe god is real. They also believe that we know god is real, therefor to say we have no belief is to reject god. All I can say is, they don't know me, or what I know to be real or not. I also have a small inkling to the workings of the brain. And it isn't god.
