Is my mother a control freak?

Well, if i were you I would ask to take the car (if you dont have your own) and go do the groceries IF or WHEN you have time. You can always get married and move out with your partner or something... But to answer your question, I wouldn't call that a control freak. That's something else. It's similar to a control freak. Goodluck with your problems. (I know mothers can be a pain ><)
