You need to talk to him! Don't be shy, if he's ever next to you then their you go. Just talk about anything, mention something that happened in homeroom or lunch. "Hey that food fight was insane did you get hit?" Anything. Just start a conversation, or compliment him. "Hey I like those shoes" or ask im anything "Those frisbee things were super weird, what did you do with yours?" Once you get talking it can only go uphill. Good luck :]
