Why would a girl ask me "how do you know if a boy like a girl"?

i have a huge crush on the girl,i always felt we were close,though i dunno if she likes me,she IMs me alot,about anythin,just random things,then yesterdday,we talked online for like 5 hrs..and then she asked me the most random question about..how do you know if a boy likes a girl,i gave my reasoning..and asked her how do you know if a girl likes a boy...and then she basically descibed herself,the way she acts around me....then i had my hopes up,but then she says,u know who i like,i thought she was talkin bout me,then i guessed this one guy...hes like my best buddy...and she admitted she liked him,though before she said nothin is goin between them...though she refused to answer rite away...then she admitted she did like my best friend,i just played along with it,cause i didnt go off and get angry,but i really dont believe her,maybe im just in denial,i dunno,im just confused.shes a trustworthy person, really nice, but i dont know what i should do? do i move on? or let faith take over?
